March has been a busy month with both existing customers and welcoming new customers that have got in touch for drone inspections and drone surveys, we are in a privileged position where we deal with multiple national chartered building surveyors and Property Management firms. We take drone inspection survey instructions from their head offices as well as their regional offices to assist the building surveyors with their reports by providing high resolution aerial photography.
DroneCam Solutions have taken on several large scale projects this month that have taken a lot of planning and preparation to ensure a smooth process for both us and our clients, the projects included conducting drone surveys at 6 HS2 sites between Birmingham and Aylesbury and drone roof inspections of all units and areas at Bicester Village retail park, the purpose of the inspections were to document the condition of all roofs and high elevations of the buildings on site for planned work and future works.

In addition to these, we have also undertaken 24 drone inspections, particularly across our core area of the North East and Yorkshire, as well as in our key areas of Birmingham, Bristol and London. The drone inspections we have completed have been for our building surveyor clients to use in a variety of reports including Dilapidations, Schedule of Conditions and Planned Preventative Maintenance reports.

Away from drone inspections and drone surveys, DroneCam Solutions have also been heavily involved with our real estate clients who have been requesting creative aerial drone images and videos of commercial buildings that are ready for rent or sale, we have been providing this service to both regional and national agents and property marketing agencies for a total of 17 projects this month.
Next month is the start of ‘solar farm season’ which is predominantly between April and September, thankfully the days are getting much longer, we have a growing list of sites to visit for thermal drone surveys to monitor performance of the panels so expect to hear more about this next month!
